The 3rd Angkor Photography Festival has been announced and it will be held in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 18 - 28 November 07. As part of the program of activities like exhibitions and slideshows, works about South and Southeast Asia, China and the Far East can be submitted for consideration to Francoise Callier (her email is frcallier@gmail.com). Interested photographers should load their works at Flickr as a set with the largest width at 1024px and email her for the link.

I have always wanted to take part in this annual festival. The closest participation I had was last year when two of my works (one shown at left) were included in the nightly projections. However, I was not able to go there. I would have wanted to avail of the free workshops but slots were already filled. I do hope that this year, I can make it. Hmmm, as of now, I haven’t yet decided on what work I should submit considering that deadline is this Friday, 15 on 30 June. However, I’m planning to make a tight edit of my Semana Santa 07 series and decide if I focus on the Paete rite of the dead, the Infanta flagellants or the Makati Senakulo or a combination of the three.
